Giraffe Wooden Craft Kit – Build & Decorate
Make your own little savannah scene with two giraffes and an acacia tree. This wooden giraffe craft kit is ready for you to build, decorate and bring to life, choosing your own colours to make the little scene entirely your own.
Pop out the pieces, smooth any rough edges with the sandpaper included, and clip them together — no glue needed. Decorate with your favourite paints, colouring pencils or markers, or enjoy the natural wood finish.
Lovely wood for colourful ideas
We use premium FSC-certified birch plywood from sustainably managed forests in Finland. The wood takes colour beautifully, making it a lovely surface for everything from a puffin’s familiar orange beak to bright patterns and imaginative designs. Use your own pencils, paints or markers.
Once assembled, your sturdy wooden giraffes can take their place on a shelf or become part of a world of adventures. Children can create a grassland around them, arrange the tree or invent stories with their other animals. There’s no set colour scheme or finished look to copy — just room for your own ideas.
Designed and made in Sligo, Ireland
We design and make everything in our Sligo studio, using carefully chosen materials and minimal paper packaging. The kit is plastic free and comes in a compact envelope: a little creative gift for children who enjoy animals, nature and making things.
Meet the giraffe
Giraffes are the tallest land animals in the world, but their long necks have just seven bones — the same number as yours! Their patterned coats help them blend into the dappled shade, and no two giraffes have exactly the same markings. That’s a good excuse to give each of your wooden giraffes a pattern of its own.
