Mini loom weaving kits - wooden Rocket Loom - Irish grown yarn

 

Bring your weaving on the go with our new mini weaving kit featuring Irish grown yarn from the native Galway sheep (the original aran sweater yarn). This boxed set makes the perfect gift for that creative person. Suitable for ages 8+. 

The set includes our Rocket Loom mini (6epi) with a plain weave patterning comb,  3 prewound shuttles with Galway wool yarn and instructions to make four fun projects.  

Projects included are :

a mini coaster, ear rings, bow and broach (findings not included) 

Kit contains: 

  • The patent-pending wooden Rocket Loom mini
  • Three snap-off shuttles, pre-wound with a selection of Galway wool Irish grown yarn 
  • One set of full-colour instructions for four mini projects

Dimensions: Loom 10 x 15cm (4 x 6 in), maximum weaving area 6.5 x 12cm (2.5 x 5in),

Instructions lacking

Very nice idea and project. The instructions are almost incomprehensible though and I have to guess how to perform the steps to strait weaving

Thank you for your feedback on our mini loom Daniel, and we are sorry for any confusion with the instructions and understand how frustrating that can be! We have emailed you with more info on how to get started, we are working on our video instructions at the moment and should have them up online in the next few weeks. Looks lovely and nice idea

Not very easy to use or very strong.
Buts it’s a nice idea, that could do with developing further.

Thank you for supporting our small business Antonia, and taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry you didnt find your mini Rocket Loom easy to use, that was the whole idea behind our design. Our larger looms have been very popular as an easy way to try weaving, the Mini loom was intended as a fun little way to give it a go, and a chance to use the native Irish wool from Galway. Feel free to send us an email outlining what made it hard to use, we are always looking for ways to improve!
If you had an issue with any part breaking please let us know and we will happily replace it. We are dedicated to using natural materials and with that comes the risk of the occasional weakness in the wood.
